With live music such a big deal in Austin,  it's great to be able to walk to some of the many venues that have bands booked most nights of the week.  Austin boasts over 200 music venues in the city, and a bunch are all near the downtown area. Downtown venues include La Zona Rosa on 4th street near the 360 Condominiums,  The Elephant room (mostly jazz) on Congress near the Brazos Lofts,  Antones on 5th Street between the Plaza Lofts and the Brazos Lofts, and  the Cedar Street Courtyard near the Brown Building Lofts.

Things get crazy at these venues during South by Southwest (SXSW), a yearly music and music business festival in March that showcases over 2000 bands on over 80 stages in Austin.  There's also the Reggae Festival, the Urban Music festival, and plenty of other activities going on throughout the year for music lovers.  Part of living downtown is to be near everything - what a better way than to live where you can enjoy the fun things in life.  Contact Me for more info.
