News > A Great Reason to Live in Downtown Austin: Live Music

Listen to some great Jazz at The Elephant room  on Congress near the Brazos Lofts.  Residents of the Brown Building Lofts can head over to the Cedar Street Courtyard to hear some music and enjoy a martini in the courtyard.

Things get crazy at these venues during South by Southwest (SXSW), a yearly music and music business festival in March that showcases over 2000 bands on over 80 stages in Austin.  There's also the Reggae Festival, the Urban Music festival, and plenty of other activities going on throughout the year for music lovers.  Part of living in downtown Austin is to be near everything - rather than driving to get your entertainment, live next to it!
